OG Straws are made from the natural stems of the rye plant—one of the world’s oldest cultivated grains. Once the grain is harvested for flour and food products, the hollow stems remain. Instead of letting them go to waste, we repurpose them into durable, biodegradable cocktail straws that add authenticity and sustainability to every pour.

Unlike paper straws, OG Straws never get soggy. Unlike plastics, they leave no toxins or footprint behind. Every straw is a natural stem—simple, authentic, and functional.

Our process is straightforward:

  1. Rye stems are collected after grain harvest.

  2. Stems are cut to length and rinsed with sterile water.

  3. Straws are dried and sterilized using food-grade heat treatment.

  4. Every straw is hand-sorted for quality.
